Playing Golf in Italy
Golf is still a relatively little played game in Umbria, so one can normally be assured of a tee off without too much worry. It is best however, to call or email ahead to check on the possibility of a competition which could impede your chances of playing. The Lamborghini and Val di Chiana golf clubs are both quite simple 9 hole courses on flat terrain. Golf Club Perugia is a full 18 holes with mature trees and undulating grounds. Antognolla is a full 18 hole championship course that only just reopened in early 2008 after a long period of closure; a beautiful course and best to book ahead.
